I have provided freelance show cover for stations including Spire FM and Heart in Somerset. I have also provided show cover and consultancy services for Wessex

and off air shifts at BBC Wiltshire. These include presenting the Lunchtime Show, Saturday Mid Morning and
the weekly 3-6 Summer Saturday show. I have also worked a producer, reporter and a sports reporter. During my time as a freelancer, I have also worked with events company Radiquip productions.
Oct ’01
– Jan ‘10 107.5 3TR FM
Programme Controller / Breakfast Presenter I joined
3TR FM a month before launch as Breakfast Show presenter.
Following the very successful
early stages of the station I became the Head of Music, which was followed by Deputy Programme Controller and then in October
2003 I was appointed Brand Manager (now titled Programme Controller).
During my time as Programme Controller, the station has seen some of the highest average hours in the country,
hitting 14.5 two quarters in a row during 2008. 2009 saw a station record of 27% reach for two quarters in a row. I have worked successfully with the sales team on a large number of promotions,
including many original ideas. I have extensive knowledge of
Enco, Selector (including simulcasting) and Octagon, which I have used in marketing the station and improving specific dayparts.
See the figures compilments of media uk by clicking here (note the reduction in TSA size from March 2007 which effected the total hours). Since November 2008, I have also been responsible for scheduling the music on two other group stations,
whilst developing the music core and compiling the playlist through a small committee. In June 2009, the addition title
of “Group Programming Facilitator” was added, working closely on projects with the Group Programming Director.
As well as my management duties, I presented the local
and commercial market leading weekday Breakfast Show.
Nov '99 – Oct ‘01

Freelance Presenter I joined Bath FM as a Weekend

Prior to it’s re-launch I presented various shows including Breakfast.
Nov '97 - Nov '99 Lantern
FM in North Devon (Now Heart)
Afternoon-Drive Presenter I joined Lantern FM
at the start of the station’s rejuvenation. At this time it was only reaching 26% of the population. We
increased it steadily to figures of 38% by 1999. This was firstly as Morning Show presenter and later on
Drivetime.
The programmes I presented were a mixture
of fun and entertainment and included various live outside broadcasts, such as producing and presenting from the Chelsea Flower
Show two years in a row.
Sep '93 - Oct '97 BBC Local Radio (Wiltshire & Solent)
Broadcast Assistant I joined BBC Wiltshire Sound in Swindon, first as a Trainee and then as a qualified Broadcast Assistant. After a two
year training course, I progressed onto the Afternoon Show as a full time Broadcast Assistant.
Duties included researching programmes, presenting live outside broadcasts, co-presenting parts
of the programme and assisting the news and sports teams when required. In 1997 I worked for a time
at BBC Radio Solent as a Broadcast Assistant.
